Paper Finger Game
This activity was planned to integrate craft-making and the use of the English language in a communicative context.
Children prepared a paper-finger game which consisted in a folded piece of paper specially designed to be used as a game which turns into a personal questionnaire.
They chose questions to be asked, numbers and colors to personalize each game.
We consider this as an enriching proposal because art nurtures inventiveness as it engages children in a process that aids in the development of self-esteem, self-discipline, cooperation, and self-motivation. Besides, the students found a way to interact in English in a relaxed atmosphere and share what they have learned in class with people in their families and school.
